The University of Exeter is one of the top ranked Universities in the United Kingdom. This University consists of 3 campuses: St Luke’s and Streatham in Exeter, Tremough in Cornwall. It also bags numerous awards including the University of the Year award (2008). Several notable personalities like Princess Ann’s children and Robert Bolt also were a part of the University’s Alumni. University of Exeter provides many Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research programmes. The University is decentralized among a number of departments such as the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics. In addition to that, each department or schools provide their own specialized staffs, courses and scholarships. The courses can be either of PostGraduate, UnderGraduate or research levels. Several inter-departmental exchange courses are also available along with overseas study programmes.
The campuses are situated at Exeter and at Cornwall. The best way to reach these campuses is by renting a car. Car rental comes at affordable prices giving you complete freedom to visit any site in and around the campus. Since the campus is hundreds of acres wide, a car would also make moving inside the campus easier. If expensive cars are not required, several other cheaper alternatives also exist. Several agencies like Vroom provide such low cost alternatives. Such agencies also have an option for driver-assisted vehicles for a few dollars more. This is quite useful especially for foreign exchange students, as they would be unsure of the direction. Booking can be done over the internet in such cases.
